United Arab Emirates Film Festival

Location: Harold and Sylvia Greenberg Theatre 4200 Wisconsin Ave. NW Washington DC 20016

Screening two short films, The Turtle and The Philosopher, the film festival will highlight the works of accomplished filmmakers, Adbulla Al Kaabi and Nawaf Al Jahani.  Following the films, there will be a panel discussion with the CEO of Image Nation Abu Dhabi, Michael Garin and a reception with refreshments. These events are held in partnership with American University’s School of Communication.

This fall, the first annual United Arab Emirates Film Festival will be held in partnership with American University's School of Communication. Honoring the creativity of UAE's growing number of film makers, the UAE Film Festival provides a platform to showcase awarding winning films, talented producers, directors and actors. This festival also creates an opportunity to share highlights from the UAE's burgeoning film industry. We hope you will join us in celebrating the art and culture of this beautiful country.
