'Reportero' follows a veteran reporter and his colleagues at Zeta, a Tijuana-based independent newsweekly, as they stubbornly ply their trade in one of the deadliest places in the world for members of the media. (Full Synopsis) Acclaimed director, Bernardo Ruiz, will host a Q & A session after showing this award-winning film to the Washington D.C. community. This event is part of the Visting Filmmakers Series; a series which brings cutting-edge social documentaries and opportunties to hear from the filmmakers to the D.C. public.
This event will take place on March 7, 2013 from 5:30-8:00PM.
It is free and open to the public.
